At least he isn't alone, he has his best friend from childhood and the forties, Steve Rogers, to help him through it. As a means to check in with one another, the two friends try to get together once a month to get a coffee or beer for updates. Steve mainly does so to make sure Bucky is acclimating well-- which is hasn't been great: he hardly leaves apartment, he hasn't even attempted to find a girlfriend or any other friends, and still views himself as a monster. One morning, they go for coffee in Queens which serves as both a vintage bookstore and literature-themed cafe. There, Bucky meets the part owner, Genny (derived from Imogen), who slips him her number. Can he find something new? Can he get past his previous existence and enjoy a life with Genny?
