In The Darkness {{Laurence x Reader }}

Humans start out with
milk white blood. The more crimes they commit, the darker their
blood becomes.

As you escape a group of bandits, you see a village nearby. As you slowly walk up to the gates, you feel a pain in your arm. You turn around to see a bandit. You look at your arm and you see the end of a dagger on your arm. You then look at the back of your arm to see a dagger in your arm. As you bolt for the gates, the bandit chases you with another dagger in hand. You start screaming and the guard on duty sees you. He opens the gates and lets you in and shuts out the bandit. You sigh in relief and turn around to the guard. " thank you so much." You say as the guard turns around to face you. " O-Oh..." he pauses. " no problem" The guard says shyly.
