This is sort of dark so read at your own risk... I really want someone to critique these. and I also wanted to make this clear that by the grace of Allah, I live a really happy life and am content with it, all this poetry was for an English project so I'll appreciate it if you give me some constructive criticism.. Assalamualaikum My Dear Brothers and Sisters of Islam!!! Daw'ah, is to call, request, encourage people to Islam. Now since we're all moderately teens who are shy when it comes to the whole introducing of Islam to others and all, why not take advantage of what we are all good at? Technology!!! This wonderful site, gives us the opportunity to create and post our own writing. I got to thinking, "Hey, while we're at it, why not create an on line book about Islam?" Many of our peers don't understand many of the things that we do, the way we dress, the things we eat, they don't really get why we do it. They're to shy to ask out in the open, so they'll always have that word nagging at the back of their heads going "why." So I have decided to create this book, so that we can inshAllah explain Islam in our own way. Notice that I said "WE". Yep, I am not solely gonna take on this task, I am human and I will mistakes, so feel fee to correct anything I write, contribute and I'll publish it along with the rest of this book also. Blind By Love
"This is Rumaan's child" I heard mama said. I didn't look up at her. I keep my head lowered. because I didn't have the courage to face her. "This is not my child," he said abruptly. I looked at him with wide eyes. I was beyond shocked. What he just said. Did I hear him right? No, he can't say that. How can he? But as he looked away from me, my heart beats stopped. my breath hitched. And that's where he broke me completely "HOW DARE YOU RUMAAM" mama yelled and slapped him. "Mama..." he was shocked that his mother slapped him " don't call me mama.," she yelled and was about to hit him again but I stopped her "no mama," I said and they all turned to me I slowly get up and went in front of them " he's right.. this is not his child" I put my hand on my stomach and said I had tears in my eyes but I did not let them fall in front of him whom I loved with my everything because now I was tired of crying for his love. I was blind. Blind by love but not anymore. LET ME HATE YOU
A marriage neither wanted. A hatred neither understands. Two strangers tied by a past that stains everything between them. He never wanted a wife. Especially not her. Cold, distant, and poisoned by assumptions, Amaan enters the forced marriage with one intention- to keep his distance and keep his resentment alive. Asmaira enters with something far heavier- guilt. Two people came together and became one. They started their life with some Promises, which make their life a beautiful journey.
