"Ryder, man, we can't just kill her. Just le-"

"What? Let her go? She knows too much. She's seen too much," The guy who was obviously the leader said, still holding the gun in his hand.

"Stones' right she knows too much," the guy from the shadows said.

"Ryder listen to Thomas, we can't kill her," Another man said.

"Fine!" Ryder said through clenched teeth, "Get her up and take her to the house."

The other two guys walked over and lifted me up, then pushed me forward to walk. My walking came to a halt as Ryder turned around with the gun pointed to my face.

"Don't make me regret not killing you," he whispered.

I feel the breath of air on the back of my neck. My limbs freeze and my breath catches in my throat. The male hands grab me by the hips. I can't move. His lips are by my ear, grazing the skin, his teeth tugging on my earlobe. His breath is hot on my skin, his lips moving down to my neck. My head tilts slightly. I shake my head. He doesn't have a weapon, I do. I turn in his grip, raising my bat. He catches the swing with one hand. He doesn't even flinch. "I wouldn't do that baby." His voice is like velvet, filling up the room. His lips are back on my neck, his tongue trails over the skin. The voice, the lips, are familiar. "You might mess up my pretty face." "Pretty face, my ass." I let the bat drop to the floor in-between the two of us. I should've known. "What are you doing here?" "Besides scaring you shitless?" "You didn't-" "Don't lie, I saw what you did to those poor hangers." *** It's a game of cat and dog. A game that's lasted four years. A game that expires in three short months. It's a battle of wits, of sarcasm, of teasing one liners, of sloppy kisses that may lead to more but nothing passed physical. It's a game with no rules. And they seem to be breaking them all. Thea Shaw and Ethan Michaels have a complicated relationship. One that neither wants to come to an end. But with college nearing and feelings developing what will come of their little game? He promises her one last summer of underage fun; parties, sunsets, long talks, sweet kisses, and no talk of college until it's time to leave. There are only two ways this summer can end. Either in each other's arms or the breaking of their hearts. #4 in New Adult [COMPLETED]

"You like this, don't you?" Sam grins, running his tongue over his lip ring. "You're turned on by it." "Please," I wave my hand in dismissal. "You are," he accuses, his voice light. He does it again. I can't look away. "Stop." "Why should I? Little Miss 'I hate everyone at Ryder' really does find me irresistible. Who am I to deny her?" Sam's voice has something of an edge to it and my eyes snap to his. "'Little miss 'I hate everyone at Ryder', huh?" I ignore the second part of his jab. "That's right." I lean against my wardrobe, crossing my arms over my chest. "There's only a few people at Ryder I really can't stand, and you're at the top of my list." Sam's eyes narrow on me. "Is that so?" He turns from the mirror and takes a step in my direction. I refuse to back down, tilting my chin up to keep his gaze as he crowds into my space. His eyes hold mine until he's close enough that I can feel the warmth of his breath over my cheeks and his focus shifts to my mouth. He runs his tongue over the lip ring again, and I feel my own lips part slightly as he does it, my breath coming a little faster. My stomach is pulsing with a mix of nervousness and something I'm not totally ready to admit to myself. ---- Logan Grey's a 16 year-old girl with a penchant for Bob Dylan and running long distances. When her father dies suddenly, she and her best friend come up with a scheme to keep her from moving to her grandparents' Ohio estate: two years of boarding at her Connecticut hometown's highly renowned prep school. But a fluke lands Logan in a room with Ryder Academy's hottest, baddest boy and it's pretty obvious they're not going to get along. At least until Sam Evans and his sexy-as-hell lip ring saunter into her life, upending everything she thought she knew. [This story contains strong language and sexual content. You've been warned!]

"I didn't ask to be in the middle of your ego-battle," I grumble. Blake pins me to my locker, hands resting on either side of my head. "Well, you got it in anyway, Darling," he whispers. His face is inches away from mine and damn me for licking my lips. I am NOT falling for these guys. And then, at the corner of my eye I spot Owen and his gang approaching. Well, that's just great. *** The West and East gang of Tygerwell have been at each other's throats since the dawn of time. And the two leaders of these gangs want to end the fight, once and for all. But fighting with fists is easy. Fighting with wit and charm, is a whole other ball game. Blake. West-side gang leader. Leather jacket and killer glare. Don't talk back. Owen. East-side gang leader. Fancy coat and toxic stare. Don't resist. And in comes Amber. Hair of gold and oceans in her eyes. Has too much sass for her own good and always, ALWAYS, manages to get into the middle of trouble. But these boys have no idea who they're really dealing with. And when Amber descovers she knows a little too much when it comes to guns and fighting, she has to question everything she thought she knew about herself. Three can play this game. *** "Let's settle this. You got rejected, I got rejected. It's only fair that the fate of the gangs be on who gets the girl first." "That sounds rather good, Rhodes. I'll take that bet on the golden girl." *** COMPLETED FICTION AWARDS: Best new story and best new account Highest ranking in Teen Fiction: #1 on 25/06/2018

Every Girl wants a bad boy to be good only for her and that's exactly what Hadley got. *** Hadley didn't think much of it when she couldn't make any friends in High School. She just brushed it off and lived her life without caring about it. Sure it would be nice to have a few friends but she guessed that she was just antisocial. Maybe there was more to it, maybe there was a cause to the underlying pain. Levi has had his eyes set on Hadley since middle school, never talking to her, never even let her catch him staring at her. When high school came around he wanted Hadley, and he did anything to keep her from harms way without her even noticing. She's naive, she didn't see it coming when he claimed her as his. **** "I don't like whats mine being touched! You should have know better.." He growled, I gasped at what he was saying." I worked too hard for some nobody to come take what I own away from me. I. Will. Not. Allow. It." Anger dripping from Levi's voice, nervousness raked through my body. His presence scares me and especially when a glint of mischief sparkled in his eyes. I went to grab Jake's arm to pull him away, I was snatched away from his reach to be put behind his back. He cracked his knuckles," I'm guessing you didn't realize your place just yet." And right before my eyes his fist connected with Jake's face. He turned toward me, my breath hitched in my throat."Your mine, your only mine. Do you understand Hadley?" Before I could stop myself." No, I'm not? I don't even know you." "But I know you." He leaned in and kissed my forehead. ________________ S I N C E. C O M P L E T E D. 4/28/18 Unedited 2023

"What the hell?! Kennedy!" I watch as Ryder turns around furiously and strides towards me. Oh oh. Maybe I took it too far... "What's wrong with you?! Did you really have to cover my car in pink sticky notes?!" He steps towards me and I take a step back. He steps forward again and I step back until I'm up against the wall. "Well if you would have left me alone when I told you to, I wouldn't have had to do it," I fire back. He chuckles. "You don't know what you just got yourself into." "What do you mea--" I get cut off by his lips on mine. I freeze. What was happening? And why did it feel so good? Ryder grabs my waist and pulls me closer to him. I wrap my arms around his neck and tangle my fingers in his hair. He bites down on my bottom lip softly. As I was about to part my lips, he pulls away. "Better watch your back," he says. He smirks at me and then turns around to leave. What just happened? ____________________ Kennedy is not like most girls. Instead of getting her nails done and gossiping, she would rather ride her motorcycle or dive jump. She didn't have any friends back at her old school, but will that change when she attends a new one? She meets the bad boy of the school, Ryder. One harmless prank of pouring some pudding over his head starts a whole other war. They prank each other and start to realise that they might have feelings for the other person and the other person might have feelings for them. Will they use that knowledge to their advantage? __________________ Highest rank: #8- teen fiction 12/29/16 Thank you to MySecretDiary for the amazing cover!!
