This story is set a few years after the events of "HTTYD 3." Toothless and his mate Luna are now the alpha rulers of The Migrating Lands, also known as The Hidden World. The pair realize that their three children Stephanie, Eclipse, and Shadow, will have to take their place later in life. The thing is, which one? They're triplets.

The factors of the Night Lights' personalities are put to the test when a fleet of evil dragons threatens not just The Migrating Lands itself, but the lives of their father and themselves. Which Night Light will become victorious in defeating the bad guys? Which one will fall to their beliefs?
