Manik angrily paced in his room like a hungry predator waiting to pounce on its prey. However, his prey was nowhere near as she was out with her pretentious 'fiance'. His mind transported back to the memories of few hours back where he had warned Nandini, not to go anywhere with Smaran. He had even threatened her with the consequences she would face but the rebel she is, in turn challenged him "Come what may. I will go with Smaran that too in front of you" were her words. Chachi though apprehensive gave her the permission very reluctantly. His eyes had grown wild seeing her smirk. He gave her a 'You-Are-So-Dead' look while she gave him a 'I-Am-Not-Afraid' look. Reaching the doorstep she turned back to him and showed him a thumbs down thus increasing his already raised temper.
