As everyone knows, the superheroes are always the good guys.
They always win.
And they're always, always, right.
Aren't they?
No one ever said that having a secret identity was easy, or fair, or simple. But I knew that. Everyone knows that. Or I wouldn't have done it.
Maybe that's why I started, for the risk, the adventure, the need for something, anything, to happen in my life. Villains don't have responsibility, they don't need to save the world, it's easier than being superman. No interviews, no fans. So? I hear you ask? What the issue?
My secret identity is in danger of being compromised, but I'm still not sure who that is. I'm not sure which life I'm living, and which I'm hiding behind. But whichever way around it is, someone's out there, someone knows, and I have to stop them.
Illegally of course - was there ever any other way?
Long ago a group of superheroes and villains worked together to prevent an invasion. But they managed to kill more people than they saved. Their destruction caused the perception of those with powers to dramatically shift; to the point of outcast.
50 years later crime as only increased to the point where not even the police respond to calls. Few heroes went into hiding to 'play normal'; like my family and I. I live in New Haven City. I've been lucky enough that I don't have powers that attract too much attention

Everything was going great. Everything was normal. Until Jamie was forced to confront the reality of her situation.
The mayor who has been running the NSA was beginning to take drastic measures. Sending many supers off to another island. Stealing their powers. Forcing others to betray their own kind. The victims of these horrific acts are not taking that lightly. Why not make a team of heroes? A team that doesnt give a shit what the NSA or the Mayor has to say.
A team of young teens who probably don't even listen to each other. That will save the world...
