Emma Gilbert was a normal girl with a normal life. She had plenty of friends and a loving grandmother in California. But after being notified that her sister, Elena Gilbert, was in danger, she decides to move back to her hometown, Mystic Falls, that she hasn't stepped foot in since she left 3 years ago. While there, she captures a certain original hybrid's attention. Feeling conflicted, will Emma side with her family, who have been with her her entire life?
