Nicholas Alexander, a soldier from Ancient Athens, has just deserted his post in the Trojan War, but while making his escape, a man made of lightning stops him in his tracks and asks him a single question. "What is the purpose of life?" 

Because of his intriguing answer, Nicholas is whisked away to The Syllogy of the Universe, where he learns from the lightning man that an evil member of their race named Mendrax is holding their world hostage by poisoning time itself. They need Nicholas to go on a fantastic journey across their world to Mendrax's time garden and plant a seed of time there to restore the balance before it's too late. 

Along the way Nicholas and his hodge-podge team of lightning-people, meet betrayal, kidnappings, forgiveness, waterfalls, ancient legends, life and death battles, redemption, and a mysterious man named Teleon who may be more than he appears.All Rights Reserved
