But when UA High announces that a popular nationally televised talent show is being filmed in their state of the art auditorium, Jirou decides to try and face her fear, with help from her new friend.
However, Kaminari's simple plan to help her get over stage fright doesn't run as smooth as he hoped, what with the sadistic prankster targeting him and Shinso, the show's concerning history of corruption, and the storm of feelings brewing between him and Jirou...

10 years have passed since the class 1-A from UA High school has last seen each other. Kyoka Jirou was now a hard worker at a guitar shop at the center of her city in Japan. She always loved music, but felt guilty for not wanting to pursue a career in being a hero and always thought that her friends became heroes.. well, some of them folllowed it. In a recent dinner with friends from school, Kyoka finds out that more than half of her friends are now renowned heroes and still are to this day. Kyoka became particularly shocked when she finds out Denki Kaminari, her first crush, did not follow through with being a hero, despite his potential and his amazing quirk. Denki Kaminari is a student at UA high school, a school for aspiring heroes and the students there are very hardworking. However, despite getting into UA, everyone sees Denki as a bit stupid, his quirk doesn't help when he goes brain dead either. He hides behind a fake smile and laughs off all of their comments and stupid remarks, but they really hurt him. Aizawa sensei is like a father figure for Kaminari, his home life isn't great, so he sees Aizawa as more of a parental figure. This is good and all, but if he disappoints aizawa, he has a full on mental breakdown, because he's disappointed the one person he sees is there for him as a parental figure. However, it's the same with his friends, if he let's them down, he gets afraid they'll leave him and forget about him, so he has a breakdown because of that.
