"Midnight!" She gasped, pulling away from the golden-haired boy. He gave her a questioning look, reaching out for her wrist again. "I have to go, sir!"

"Wait, Ladybug-"

The masked girl stumbled down the stairs, a glass slipper falling off as she ran. She had no time. It was midnight!

"I love you!" But it was faded, a sentence that no one heard but the Prince. He sighed, watching her leave. Suddenly, he noticed the shining shoe perched on the stairs gracefully. Picking it up, he carefully examined it. Only one girl could fit in this shoe; his Ladybug.

"Are you trying to impress Adrien?" He asked, and Marinette sighed deeply, walking over to her desk chair and slamming her butt on it, the chair twirling a little. "Jealous cat." She said, smiling up at him. "What brought you here anyway, kitty?" His smile wavered, "Can't I come to see my confidant?" She rolled her eyes. "Well, confidant... What brought you here?" He shrugged and sat on the floor near her, staying clear of the train on the dress. "I actually needed a girl's advice." She raised her brow quizzically. "Okay... what does the 'ladies man' need to know?" Referencing the most recent interview he did. "Oh, come on. I didn't expect them to keep that part in the interview." She giggled. "It was funny, I'm glad they kept it in." He flicked her exposed leg through the dress slit. "Okay, but I just had a question about Ladybug." Marinette swallowed hard at the mention of herself. She suddenly felt like she shouldn't be hearing this because she was Ladybug. "Okay, shoot it." He bit his lip, maybe unsure how to word it. "Well... I kinda tried to court her for at least the last 7 months. She didn't accept it, and I finally accepted that myself... but I guess my question is why she might not have wanted me. I'm sorry, I'm not even sure you could answer that... It just seems like Ladybug trusts you, so maybe she mentioned something to you?" -- Marinette Dupain-Cheng, a usually stubborn, headstrong girl, finally gives up on liking Adrien Agreste. He can't seem to take the hint, and she can't seem to conjure the confidence just to tell him. Chat Noir, a superhero who's able to charm any girl in his double life AND civilian form, can't seem to charm the one girl he wants: Ladybug. So as you know Chat Noir is tired of all those secrets , hiding his identity is diffictult , but even more difficult when he doesn't knows the girl who is behind Ladybug's mask since he loves her . He would do anything to see that mysterious girl , but he also knows that she doesn't want him to know and respects that . Negative emotions sometimes overtake him , but tries to hide them , fearing that he will get akumatized . He doesn't like all those secrets and he wants to make Ladybug understand that hiding her identity from him , won't change anything ,but make it worse , he doesn't want to tell her about his fear , so Ladybug refuses to reveal her identity , but telling the truth . Chat Noir gets very emotional about and Ladybug too , but the only difference this time is that Chat Noir has let negative emotions take control ...

After watching the movie A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song, I was overwhelmed by the parallels in Miraculous Ladybug and Cinderella. Plus, the characters' appearances and personalities were so similar to the show! It was driving me crazy, so I had to write something off of it. This is based off of Tumblr @ssa-alexandria's theory/story idea of a Cinderella/Miraculous parallel. (Thank you so much for this!)
