She's different from everyone around her. She has been since birth. Stormy Misty Moon has always lived on the outskirts of New York City. She is currently living with her loving adoptive mother, Sasha, and her abusive adoptive father, Damian. One day, her lethal side takes over and she kills Damian after he kills Sasha. She runs away to the big city but gets kidnapped by a man named Shredder. She escapes and lives in her own apartment living her life as an artist and cook. As she walks home after closing hours, she goes down a familiar alleyway. She is beaten and nearly raped by a group of drunks before four mutants save her.
