This story is a set in a fictional world mirroring our own in medieval times.
Aside from a cast of your beloved fantasy creatures, I have also made use of actual historical facts, practices and celebrations. In that regard, it also leans towards historical fiction.

This first book of the Medieval Dark Age series.

Meet Wolrick. Fierce Warrior. Poor manners. Party animal.
Loved by his mother, envied by his brother, banished by his father, he must fend for himself in the Waste of Wonders. 
And the only thing that is wondrous about it is the question of how you will die there.
Be that by nature, its beasts, the club of a Giant, or the jaws of a Frost Wyrm. 

But Wolrick has no intention of dying yet for he has grander plans. 
Guided by the mysterious mage Myria, he will do whatever it takes to return home, restore his honour and perhaps save his kind from impending doom.

Safe to say she finds herself in one hell of an adventure. - - TW: if you need a tw for fighting, violence, weapons, blood, death, etc. I would read with caution (I don't get into any gory details, but there are scenes w/ this) I will put tw's for the more violent scenes.

Kara and her freinds now must find out how to survive in a land where little is what it seems and a villain can be made of a hero or a hero made of a villian. Atop all this sits Fate, pulling strings to make her puppets jump and keep things intresting, because she has always loved a good show.
