This story is a set in a fictional world mirroring our own in medieval times.
Aside from a cast of your beloved fantasy creatures, I have also made use of actual historical facts, practices and celebrations. In that regard, it also leans towards historical fiction.

This first book of the Medieval Dark Age series.

Meet Wolrick. Fierce Warrior. Poor manners. Party animal.
Loved by his mother, envied by his brother, banished by his father, he must fend for himself in the Waste of Wonders. 
And the only thing that is wondrous about it is the question of how you will die there.
Be that by nature, its beasts, the club of a Giant, or the jaws of a Frost Wyrm. 

But Wolrick has no intention of dying yet for he has grander plans. 
Guided by the mysterious mage Myria, he will do whatever it takes to return home, restore his honour and perhaps save his kind from impending doom.

Once you can fly you must cross the White Desert, a land covered almost entirely in ice and snow, and the inhabitants are not all friendly. Gods and goddesses of myth live with in the constraints if the dimension beside creatures of flight and fancy; beside them hide those of dreams, be they day dreams or the darkest nightmare. Kara and her freinds now must find out how to survive in a land where little is what it seems and a villain can be made of a hero or a hero made of a villian. Until the show started to change, when one little girl in particular wants things to change, because if leaving means Death, well Fate has another thing coming, a new Queen is coming.
