This story is a set in a fictional world mirroring our own in medieval times.
Aside from a cast of your beloved fantasy creatures, I have also made use of actual historical facts, practices and celebrations. In that regard, it also leans towards historical fiction.

This first book of the Medieval Dark Age series.

Meet Wolrick. Fierce Warrior. Poor manners. Party animal.
Loved by his mother, envied by his brother, banished by his father, he must fend for himself in the Waste of Wonders. 
And the only thing that is wondrous about it is the question of how you will die there.
Be that by nature, its beasts, the club of a Giant, or the jaws of a Frost Wyrm. 

But Wolrick has no intention of dying yet for he has grander plans. 
Guided by the mysterious mage Myria, he will do whatever it takes to return home, restore his honour and perhaps save his kind from impending doom.
