The Maybe Invasion

A young girl walks into a rural police station claiming the country is about to be invaded. She is taken in for questioning, not sure whether she can be believed or not, and, being in a dystopian regime, the authorities automatically consider her to be a potential suspect. Are the invaders real? Where do they come from? Is the young girl part of something nefarious, or just the potential victim of an uncaring system?
