'Follow your head, not your heart' is what they always tell her.

But Princess Charlotte of Hugehston will not let anything get in her way in this point, and that explains her rebellious spirit. And with her still-naive mind and indecisiveness, she seeks to solves the problems on her own and makes regretful choices.

Forced into a decision, promised to do it, but backs out after... no wonder the people of her kingdom can never really understand her adolescent mind filled with freedom. And about Alexander Lops, has the Princess really turned into a hopeless romantic dreamer with the commoner... or so she thought he was one?

Not to mention the tiring throes between the kingdoms of Hugehston and the neighboring Verona, which plague the Princess's mind and relationships. Misfortunes and upheavals do not spare the Royal girl either.

Will this Princess be able to free herself and the people around her, and sort out her troublesome life to successfully ascend her father's throne as Queen?

Princess Charlotte soon discovers that decisions are made better with the heart AND head after all.

A Medieval Action work with a number of different genre as each round's prompts dictate. Battles, Kings, princes, a princess; crowns, plots, twists and turns. Achiever of all the nine belts. WINNER OF ROUND 9 - "A NEW WORLD" Something different for me to stretch my writing skills and get back into one of the things I love most in my life - to create stories. this 'work' idea has been created by Ambassadors here for this "Write to Rank Contest 2022" - each chapter (round) to be written from a prompt given by the contest creators. The first round is a very quick read indeed, - a DRABBLE - a story of exactly 100 words, no more, no less; however much ACTION. ROUND 5 - MORE twists and turns in this unexpected but amazing challenge - mashing up fantasy and action - battles; legends exposed under-cover; flying with eagles; a rare mental condition called today "Boanthropy" - seemingly of fantasy but a historic king suffered 7 years from it! Not a witch - maybe not even an 'Angel' - more human than she seems... "IS IT REAL?" https://www.wattpad.com/myworks/312958420/write/1244685929 UPDATE - ALL required NINE parts have been written and submitted! Round TEN is needed only by those writers who didn't finish any other round - and as at this date, October 25, I have all nine belts. {COMPLETED} The stars disappeared seventeen years ago. A black night sky has mirrored a bleak existence for the people of Auros. The Gifted, humans with unique abilities to affect the world around them, have all but become extinct thanks to the dark reign of a usurper. And somehow Zephyr Elvy has managed to live her nineteen years in the blissful quiet of a small town next to the sea. Zephyr has always been content to keep to herself, and happy to live a simple, if uneventful, life. If only the universe had that in mind for her. Forced to flee the only place she has ever called home, Zephyr finds herself running through a world she has only ever read about, along with two soldiers who have deserted their posts to keep their consciences clean. With only a letter and a mysterious weapon as clues to why she's being hunted, Zephyr must face her own fears while discovering a whole new world of terrors at the hands of a queen she knows next to nothing about. Having never risked anything her entire life, Zephyr is forced to choose between apathy or action, hiding and keeping to herself, as she has always done, or taking a leap that could change the world she is just now getting to see. ***** Thank you SO MUCH for reading! I'm updating every Monday until this story is done, and I've been sitting on this one for almost three years so I'm really excited to finish it! I don't have any beta readers for this as I write, so please let me know if you notice anything, and I mean ANYTHING, that needs fixing! :)

Twelve-hundred years ago, the first king of Sacreon led a rebellion against an empire of witches. The war for who would rule next continues to this day. A false guise of peace came over Ert after two genocides, but there is no one so foolish as to claim the fighting is done. A prophecy claims that war will return to Ert when the moons are full once again on Ascenday. That day is growing closer now, and there is not a fool in the warring nations who does not dread its coming. In the midst of this all, the heirs to Sacreon struggle to find their place in this world of kings and knights and gods and elves and witches. A princess falls for someone she cannot hope to have, prince travels south to broker an alliance, a warrior seeks vengeance for the death of her sister. and the heir to a long forgotten kingdom quests for glory. Behind all of this, one man journeys north to an island of long forgotten magic with plans of justice, and The Wolf Witch goes west, searching for the one who can stop this war and unite Ert once again: The Silver Girl. Note: The Wolf Witch is meant to be a prequel to this book, and Sora will make an appearance, but she will not be a main character. By the way I take huge inspiration and influence from A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones so if you like that you'll probably like this (and my other writings I hope). Cover created by the most excellent @apprehensiveanne. It's very cool.
