~~Fog may deceive the physical eye sight but there is something about the third eye that can surpass any obstacle. Those with a keen sense can even see when the obstacle will hit them. Those people are truly gifted.~~
Power. Mystery. Change.
During this mysterious time period, the Catholic Church is taking over the world and people start to lose faith in the old legends and myths held by generations of people. Is this affecting the way people perceive the world? Or is it blocking them from seeing another world coexisting in their own? Did I mention...well I guess you will have to read about it.

"Suddenly, I found our faces so close together, I could feel his warm breath caressing my face. It smelt slightly of mint, and an undercurrent that was all Cole-pure masculine goodness.I breathed in deeply, my eyes briefly fluttering closed. God, since when did he smell so good?" Raven has lost everyone. Her mother and twin sister died, her father left, leaving her in alone in the world with powers that she barely understands. All that Raven has left is Cole, her best friend. When a dangerous enemy resurfaces intent on killing Raven, Cole swears he will do all he can to protect her. As the two get pushed closer together, will their combined powers be enough to save them? He never mentioned to Hera that he's going home after two decades. Only his youngest child knows of his trip back home. Whether he believes in curse or not. It's his 45th birthday tomorrow and he must be home to keep his promise to his mother. His family had never forsaken him, he did. He'd been ignoring their summons since he turned his back from them. Perhaps it's time to grant their plea. He closes his office and walks to the elevator. "Good evening, Artemis." The man in a black jacket greets him. Artemis smiles at the stranger. "Do I know you?" The stranger puts his arm around the stunned lawyer. Behind the unknown man's dark glasses are bloodshot eyes ready to scare the wits out of his prey. "Your mother does. She's expecting me to greet you happy birthday." Removing his dark glasses, he stares at his victim to corrupt his eyes. Insurmountable fear assaults Artemis as excruciating pain drills on his eyeballs. A horrible scream slits through the silence of the night when the clock strikes twelve. As the elevator opens, the stranger loosens his grip and the victim falls on the floor. Covering his bleeding eyes, Artemis winces from severe pain. The man whistles away as he walks past the dead body of the security guard in the lobby to the snowy road outside the building. His victim crawls out of the closing elevator. The curse is true.
