Chat Noir has found Hawk Moth but Ladybug is not back yet. Knowing she trusted him, he recruited some of his superhero friends to help him take Hawk Moth down. The heroes knew victory was close and so did Hawk Moth. Hawk Moth decided to use the only ace up his sleeve, the only thing he knew would make the heroes falter. "Marinette Dupain-Cheng is... dead." Marinette has always been there for Paris as Ladybug with the help of the charming Chat Noir. After having a terrible accident, Marinette is unable to help her fellow team mate fight off akumatised victims and without the help of Ladybug's Lucky Charm Paris falls into a state of deep peril. With the burden of Paris growing on his shoulders, Chat Noir starts to slowly give up more and more. As well as when he checks up on Marinette he's all battered and bruised. Unable to deal with the guilt Marinette is faced with two decisions. One, either she stay in bed and let her body recover while Hawkmoth comes closer to winning, or two, she transforms into Ladybug again in the state she is in hoping that it won't be her last battle. Marinette gets akumatized but no one knows until all hell breaks loose. Her pink and cheerful style goes to black and badass. She blocks out all her friends when they try and get close with her but none of them back away for good. Ladybug of course disappears in this mess and Paris, especially Chat Noir, need her back to help fight the new villian. But what they don't know is that Ladybug IS the villian.
