This is a story I wrote for the Scholastic Art and Writing Contest. It won a gold key at regionals under the category for science fiction and fantasy.
Evelyn is transported through time to what she is sure is certain doom. When she encounters civilization, some unexpected events unfold, and Evelyn has to make a life or death choice.
I hope you will read and enjoy the story.

4 | Waves of Life ✓
Evelyn had dealt with many losses over the course of some years but nothing prepared her to lose her other half, her husband, Lucas. Whisked away from her embrace in eternal sleep, Evelyn is overcome with grief and heartbreak. It is said when tragedy befalls, we lose a part of ourselves in the process. How far would Evelyn go to find that lost part of her again? When the waves of life rips you off the shore of normalcy what do you do? Do you swim or do you drown? Achievement: Qualified 2nd round of ONC.Zakończone
A GODDESSES PARADISE (girlxgirlxgirl)
The sight shocks her. It shocks her more than someone should shock a girl from a small conservative village, far from society. Girls are everywhere, literally. They are walking through the mess of small marble bridges and paths, holding hands and whispering to each other. They are swimming inside big pools of water, the ones that the bridges cross over, playing around or even worse, kissing. They are seated by the pools, kissing, making out, staring at the other girls and laughing --- Irene finds herself stranded on an island, looking for her lost brother, only to find a whole city only for women. When she is taken to the temple of Aphrodite, the goddess of love, everything changes. But who will she ultimately fall in love with? My Beautiful Mind
After losing her twin brother to a car accident the summer before their first year of college, Elin has been trying to mend the shattered pieces of her heart ever since. To escape from the pain and loneliness, Elin lets her imagination run wild, exploring places she never thought possible through the intelligent, compassionate, and fearless minds of the four young women she created with her thoughts alone. When these figments of imagination are miraculously brought to life, Elin embarks on a once-in-a-lifetime journey to finally learn what it means to let go and trust once more. --------------------------------------------- These girls are everything to me, because they are me. Each represents something hidden and forgotten in the wake of grief, only to be resurfaced again by my mind. My beautiful mind. A mind that I only just learned has given me a precious gift that represents my very being, a precious gift that could make life worth living, a precious gift that others can't take away from me no matter how hard they try. A wary, faint smile slowly turns my lips upwards and I turn around to face the girls. Cordelia notices the change in my behavior and grins. "Are you ready to turn the next page of our story?"Zakończone
Silent Rebellion
Keep in mind this was my first story. Imagine being trapped in a world that decides everything for you -- how much you eat, how much sleep you get, who you love, where you live, even when you die. So when Evelyn is chosen along with 47 other "young leaders," what will happen when she meets them? And when the impossible happens, what will happen to those young leaders? (Think Hunger Games mixed with Matched mixed with a little bit of Divergent, as those were my inspirations as I wrote)Zakończone
