(ReinerxOC, mature slow-burn) It began the day a god turned his face away. Men of iron descended from the mountains to cut us down where we stood. They burned our homes and put the chains around our wrists. When the race of heroes came we hailed them as saviours and opened the enemy's gates to them. But that is all in the past, and this is now.
