She smirked right back at him, mimicking the famous Malfoy smirk. "Promise?"

He edged closer to her, mischief glistening in his eyes as he lowered his face until her breath fanned across his cheeks. "Oh, I promise."

Hermione Granger is a strong-willed, intelligent and brave Gryffindor girl. After recently graduating from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Hermione finds herself in an unfortunate situation. After Ron shows his true colors, and the relationship goes to Hell, Hermione is left to bury herself in her work. The Brightest Witch of Her Age is forced to open her eyes to a new perspective and is challenged in a way she was not familiar with at all.

Draco Malfoy was always known to be an insufferable prat. The mommy's boy who had made too many mistakes to count, changed his life in one split second as he chose the winning side during the Battle of Hogwarts. While both of his parents are to be put through trial for their work as Death Eaters, Draco is left in his own solitude, where he puts his work before everything else.
