The story is about James, a boy in school who is not looked down on but not too popular either. He has friends but some are not as perfect as he thinks they are. His friends plan a revenge on another school. When their ultimate revenge doesn't go according do their plans, James is forced to go on a challenge like never before. Something that he'd never thought of doing. What will he do? Will he be able to survive the ultimate test to show exactly how strong he is, or will he fail and ruin the dignity of his school?

Unfortunately James and a guy named Mandella had a found liking into the ninth grader and forces her, as well as others, to sign a contract stating that he had the right to kill them if they were to quit or stop in any way of reasoning possible. Three years later, now a senior, Janeva is the new bad girl in the school. But things get a little Rocky when the former popularity, Winter comes back, and a new guy, Josiah, transfers to Janeva school. Janeva is trapped by three problems. A new hot boy who soons join the parkour team and finds a liking in her, a contract she wants to get out of so badly but James has more plans in his hands, and a former popularity who wants to take Janeva down. After what seems like days, they make it out of the cave alive, only to find out that they have ended up in a new world: a world where nothing makes sense. There are giants and leprechauns and shapeshifters...but there is also a great darkness that is out to destroy everyone-and everything-that it sees. Young Anthony finds out that it is up to him and Emma to save this new world with great powers that he had no idea he had, and make it home before anybody suspects a thing. Told from a first-person point-of-view, it goes into detail about the thought processes of a young man who has everything to lose. The protagonist deals with real life struggles every day, including the death of his friend, his dad who left him at an early age, and the pain of seeing his little sister being hurt by her boyfriend. He also has to take charge and become a hero for those who can't against an unwavering bully in a far-away world. My book blends fiction with reality, as the reader follows along in the life of a shy high school student who gets thrown into many situations he must overcome as he finds out who he truly is and why it is him who needs to save the world, while keeping the reader guessing every step of the way.Complete
