A Form with a Purpose

Abandoned in the forest with the rest of the imperfect ones, Lithyalin despised "humans" for a time, alienated herself from them. Yet even though she was abandoned, she could not bring herself to leave, as she aged she has taken up the task assigned to the imperfect ones: to protect the small town hidden in the forest. No longer somewhere she longed to be, or a place she had ever called home, the very fact that she was born there was reason enough to protect it. Yet when war ravaged the country, desperate imperial soldiers from the capital to capture and bring back the supernatural creatures that have been said to be hidden in the forest that protects that town. Her self made place in and among the other imperfect ones are called into question. Where as they are disturbing to look at, they are still human, yet Lithyalin is something else… something more… her form has a purpose.
