Summer is the only refuge teenagers get from their ever-stressful lives. It is a time without any sort of real world worries. A time when the light is yellow and warm. You can bask in the pure bliss of nothing to do- or everything to do, depending how you look at it.
An occasional storm will roll in and bring friends together as they try to find something to do inside. Or they can run outside in the downpour without a care. That is what summer is for.

Heads up: While it isn't tagged as mature, as there will not be explicit content (violent, sexual, what have you) there will probably be cursing. I mean, come on, these are teenagers.
