From the best friend of a dying king, to an innocent princess forced into a mental struggle for vengeance, to a young scribe who longs to escape from his monastery-- this book tells the story through the eyes of the many characters around Will and Josh. The narrative paths that converge and separate, and the ones who experience the effects of the two brothers and their search for a way home are deeply rooted and sometimes catastrophic. Every character is important to the story, but nobody is safe from the choices they make, or the choices made by others. ---- This story is 11+ years in the making with the original prologue posted here to Wattpad in 2012, I spent the next decade world-building and flushing out the intricate plot threads within this world, and only now am I taking the first steps to tell the story.
