The year 2031 brought the worst and best things to ever happen to humanity: zombies and magic
It's all connected to The Surge, a strange compound that was brought to earth via meteor. About one tenth of the population was instantly zombified, which led to society bunching together in cities for protection. Unlike most stereotypical zombie apocalypses, the world went back to normal, that is. until they found magic.
First seen in zombies, a tiny fraction of the population could use it, leading to an elite tier of society Meet Grayson, who tested positive for Surge particles in his blood. The government moves him to California and his journey begins as an introverted kid with the unique ability to grow bones out of his body.

This story is an outcome of a drastically declining future. When humanity was completely lost and there was no one left on Earth taking care for it or others. Humans have become soo busy in their own lives that they have completely forgotten about others and even other lives on Earth. So many species are now extinct because of them and even though life is almost over we still not able to see the right thing. If we had seen things in the right way the right perspective we would've have alot to share and alot to give . We would've had inventions quite earlier the 22nd century but interestingly we were losing everything.....Complete
A Thought
The astral descended 200 years ago and with it brought chaos and destruction but also opportunity. Ability to move between worlds, these were the astrals. With power that allowed them to move between earth and another world and get power, they quickly fought against the invading monsters called spawns and humanity reversed the destruction. Bring tech from technological advanced worlds, earth gradually became better, growing and growing for the better and now another batch for the student awakening has started, with who will awaken and learn before becoming astrals, developing humanity more. Kyle, a young and orphaned boy, suddenly gets the thought power, an ability that allows him to instantly create anything from his imagination, bringing it to reality but it will only last for 5 minutes before dissapear long, that specific thing not to be used again for a week. Cosmic
In an alternate timeline, the human race found a way to create superpowers. By extracting energy from stars and inserting that energy into humans, 'powers' were created. Powers allowed humans to gain unnatural abilities such as flight, invisibility, super strength or in other words, superpowers. Of course, with the introduction of something so revolutionary, people rose up in the hundreds of thousands in an event known as the Great Rebellion. The insurgents banded together under a single banner and became collectively known as the Shadow, marking the beginning of the Cosmic Wars. Out of the darkness, the Gazers were born. Using what remained of the power technology, the Gazers singlehandedly perished the evil and ended the conflict. However, there was a price to pay. Powers put a toll on the human body and had serious mental and physical repercussions. The solution was to recruit children from the age of 13 to 18 and train them so their bodies would adapt to their powers, eventually becoming immune to all negative side effects. The end of the Cosmic Wars brought forth a new age of peace and prosperity that the world had never seen before. However, the long reign of the Gazers has already begun to crumble, cracks showing up within the very thread of society. Their rule will not last for much longer. The Shadow will rise once again. An Era Of Zombies
The injection that would make you immortal they said, the injection that would make you a god. They offered the injection to anyone who could buy it. It was actually not too bad a price for something like this but still too much for many. The rich were injected, the royal family of the universe first and then about a fourth of Earth. After about an hour, you'll begin to feel the change and then after twelve hours, the human heart will be pumping with the zomtoxin from the injection and you will change. The people became zombies.
