In 2049, fully immersive VR technology has been created to the point where the ability to tell the difference between real life and a video game is lost. The world's leading MMORPG game, Chaos Emperors, has set a challenge, an event that will last until the challenge is completed. The condition of the event is when a player becomes the highest ranking warrior in the game "Ultimate Champion".  The prize for the completed challenge is 400 million US Dollars.

Raul is a struggling amateur MMA fighter who thought it would be a good way to earn a living, now struggling to get a victory this event could be his way to getting somewhere in life. Although by becoming a full time VR game player could affect his real life dramatically, he risks everything for glory, fame and money.
