Their world is normal. Caitlin Valentine is the oldest of 5 children. Her parents were killed in a bank robbery right after she became an emancipated minor. Now, she's in charge of her 4 younger siblings.

First. There is the joker. Alex Valentine. He can't stop making jokes, but this jokester has a dark side.

Then Katie. She's sweet and innocent. Except when it comes to Lucas.

Lucas. Katie loves to abuse him. Well. Everyone loves to.

Vanessa is the innocent one. She's always sweet and every now and then will make a joke.

Then there are their friends. Eddie, the pothead that they call the Asian Jesus and his girlfriend Selene. There's Jessica, bow chicka pow pow and her boyfriend Kintrell. Many nicknames for him. Then there's Arthur and Jovi. The cowboy and cowgirl. Chris, the sweetest guy you'll ever meet and he's the boyfriend of Caitlin. Then there's Jamie, the sweet and supportive girlfriend of Alex.

Their world is about to change. A virus is spreading. People are going insane, killing anyone they see. They infect people by blood and blood on contact. This small group of teenagers are about to have to grow up quickly now, if they want to survive. And in the process, things are going to get bloody.
