Two soldiers, different ranks, impossible love story.

"A relationship between you and I is impossible, we're not in the same rank. Not in the military or in life" he said and turned to walk away.

"Rayyan! Rayyan!!" She called as he walked further away from her.

"Staff Sergeant Rayyan Abbati Gana! How dare you walk away from an officer of a higher rank" she said. Even though it broke her heart to enforce her authority on him, it was the only way she could get him to stop.

Immediately, he stopped, turned around, stamped his left foot and raised his right hand in a salute, to her.

They loved each other so much but she was on a higher rank than him and her father, a General would rather die than let his daughter be with a mere Staff Sergeant.
