Las parejas que no comparten su proyecto de vida es probable que una vez pasado el enamoramiento inicial, tengan dificultades para continuar. Una de las experiencias más dolorosas que el ser humano tiene que afrontar es la ruptura amorosa, según la revista Journal of Fanily and Economic Issues nos dice que cualquier relación a largo plazo los conflictos son inevitables, por lo que saber elegir y superar que discusiones se debe tener en una relación, son la clave que puede llevar a una ruptura, cuyas principales causas son: "Dinero", "Comunicación", "Infidelidad", "Tareas del hogar", "Hijos" y "Falta de respeto".
