I'll Stay. (Ghost!JohnxDave fanfic) [kudos to the picture artist]

"Hey John, do you think we'll always be bros?" An albino boy of age 7 asks a blue eyed raven haired boy.
"I dunno, will I always have an overbite?" John asks.
The albino and John both giggle childishly and they chase each other around a backyard that has a treehouse. John chases the albino up the ladder but when the albino reaches the top he looks back. All he sees are two bright blue eyes and he pushes the owner of them back, John yelps and falls off the ladder.
John hits the ground, and doesn't stir.
"Dave what happened to John?!" A boy, age 13, runs out to where John lay seemingly unconscious.
"I-I was climbing the ladder and he got really close so I tried to put some space and" Dave bursts into tears, crawling into the dark corner of the treehouse and brings his knees up to his cheeks."I'm sorry."
The older boy runs a hand through his hair as John's father calls for an ambulance.
