Nina is taught to believe that everything happens for a reason and whilst she does believe it, that doesn't stop her from complaining about how much she hates her job and how at only 23 and a half, her life has already reached a plateau. She wishes time would fly by faster because she wants nothing more than for this confusing part of her life to end. Meanwhile Niall thinks there's not enough time in a day because there are so many - not particularly good - things happening in his life. He barely has time to meet someone new and when he does make time for it, something embarrassing happens, making him want to give up altogether. Maybe he isn't cut out for life outside of grad school. In which sometimes all you need is the right person to help you overcome the struggles of being an adult.
