I lived at the Garrison... Until the day that all changed. I was whisked into space on a blue Lion, thankfully, with a few of my friends. But I've never had the guts to take on a galactic war. I'm just a silly teenager with no life. How could I save the universe from evil purple cat people, even with crazy new powers?

I don't own Voltron, or most of the plot. There will be places I switch to write fun little filler chapters, and the plots there will be mine, but I will try to stick with the episode plot.

Gosh dang it screwed up the cover! The actual Voltron part of the pic isn't mine, but I did edit it, and I looks awful. I should redo it, but I'm too lazy.
Edit, Jan 2021: I apologise, but this story is going on a (hopefully) temporary hiatus. I need to rewatch Voltron so I actually have inspiration to write. I have no idea how to incorporate the reader in the next few episodes, so I can't produce anything until then. Thank you for understanding. I promise I'm trying.

This is a Lance x Reader Fanfiction. In this story you are Keith twin sister and you have your own lion the Purple lion. Keith's father is still alive in this story his background will be revealed soon. Also this story will follow the Voltron storyline but with changes and the ending will be different. After the Kerberos Mission life change Shiro is gone, Keith got expelled, and life keeps going. After one night of sneaking out with my friends we saw a ship crash. Shiro came back and so did my brother. We then found a Blue Lion in cave and before we knew it we were in Space on a different plant. It's the Paladin of the Blue Lion Lance McClain but I'm afraid of telling him since I don't want to ruin our friendship. Throughout our journey my feelings for him grow stronger. After barely fighting off a fleet of Galra ships, Voltron lands on the planet Toumia that is surrounded by three suns, humbly expecting thanks, gratitude, and food. Not necessarily in that order. However, as soon as they land on the ground, the leader of the Ibhe Htua, Pedagogue Tuaste, tells them that they did a good job, but there's a lot to learn before they even have a hope of defeating Zarkon and his evil empire. Grudgingly, they accept her offer to train them. However, a new threat to the universe arises soon after they land on Toumia, one that is completely unrelated to Zarkon and the Galra Empire. One of the many societies on the planet with purple grass has developed a way to help the universe, but the Voltron Team knows that this will do anything but help the universe, and that they must stop it at all costs. Together, the five Paladins make up Voltron, Defender of the Universe. And what do defenders of the universe do? They defend it. * * * The timeline for this fanfiction within seasons 1-2 of VLD are unknown, for reasons that will be clear by the end of this particular fanfiction. As such, the characters will know how to do certain things, and not know other things. Because of this, there will be spoilers for some things but not others, and seeing as this happens somewhere within the spacetime between the episodes of seasons 1 and 2. It's weird.
