Falling for a Rose

All characters are aged up to 18 or older. A story about love. A story about change. A young, Huntress in training soon finds herself fighting her nemesis on top of a Grimm infested airship while her school, Beacon Academy, is being attacked. Ruby Rose tries her best to fight off her enemies, Roman Torchwick and his strange partner, who he calls Neo. Despite her best efforts, the airship collides to the ground and Ruby is sent flying through the air towards what she thinks would be her death. Life has a weird way of dealing with things, though. Among the ship rubble, a wandering Neo finds the injured Huntress and instead of finishing her off, decides to take her away to patch her up, convincing herself that the only reason she's doing this was because Roman did the same to her when he found her. Unexpected
[ABANDONED} About 50 years ago, society began accepting regression. More research was done, and tests were then created and perfected to identify regressors and possible caregivers, along with matching them up and creating places spesifically for them. Daycares, playgrounds, hospital units. Everything was safe and accepting, from a legal standpoint at least. Jake was a regular college student. He played soccer, he went to his classes, he partied every other weekend, and he shared his dorm with his best friend, Mason. They both took the test at once, knowing what they'd likely be, but.. they weren't correct. Or even close. Now Jake's stuck with 3 caregivers, struggling to accept that he's a regressor, and having to adjust to his entire life changing in front of him without him having much of a say in it. At least he can still go into engineering like he wanted, right? Or is that being taken away from him too?
