I grew up in Flom, the oldest of three in a family of humans. Comfortable living alongside nature, my true goal in life was always to become a dedicated scout.

When a fire destroyed my family home, my sister and I were the only survivors.

I was forced to start all over again and live at Aunt Flora's house. It all seemed so hopeless until I'd learned of an opportunity in a far-off city, a chance to get my life back on track.

I was going to Lux to get work on a merchant vessel and head out to sea.

So, with nothing to my name but Natalya the pony, my trusty dagger, and a lock pick hidden in my belt, I set off on the road to Lux.

That was how I came to arrive at Evertree Inn, a highway tavern owned by the Dupree family. It seemed as good a place as any to stop for the night...but things were not to be so straightforward.

She has lived her life hiding from the eyes of society, alone in a house of nobility. Years passed in her life, years full of shame, grief, and loneliness. Losing her home, her status as a noble, and the family name, she ventures out and discovers more than she ever knew about the city. Here is where the story begins. (If anyone would like they could attempt to make a cover art for my god awful attempt at a novel. I hope you enjoy reading this weird tale of mine!)

I was innocent then, but now I know that anything can be hidden under a small platform in the woods with a secret bigger than the world itself.
