Ruse and his sister named Melony, get trapped in a virtual world named Sword Art Online.  It is the year 2022. The NerveGear has been launched and about 30,000 players log on. The creator trapped all players and made the console, so if you die in the game the console will send a magnetic show wave to your brain and fry it. Ruse meets a mysterious player named Yuri. Both players advance quickly and are part of the frontlines. Everyone who is part of the frontlines is on the Assault Team. To get back to the real world they have to defeat 100 bosses which are the Assualt Team's purpose. Join Ruse and Yuri on their mission to get back to the real world.
