Hello, my name's Ally, you could say the main fault about me is that I am and always will be an optimist, the hoper of far flung hopes, and the dreamer of Improbable Dreams. Ally is a 17 year old girl living in California. She convinces herself and everyone else that she sees the good in situations and life In general, other than that she tends to live in a fairy tale where everything has a admirable outcome and hope is not lost. However, Ally hides a terrible secret which she treats as a minor threat, but as she develops strong feelings for the handsome new boy in town, she comes to realise that being optimistic can blind you from the reality you live in and that maybe her dreams and hopes are best left to stay Improbable.

Ally has always been one of the boys. That is, until she realizes that she has feelings for her best friend, Zac, who happens to be the hottest guy in school. He’s chased by many girls and doesn’t date anyone for more than a month tops, most definitely not Ally. He only sees her as his best friend, his little sister at most. If Ally even wants a chance with Zac she’s going to have to change and become one of the girls, which is exactly what she plans to do this summer. But will it work? Does Ally really need to change herself to get Zac to like her?
