Following one from the two one-shots in my previous works.
Sara, still struggling with her past and the PTSD she still suffers today with the help of her crew and her lover Ava, is confronted with her demons head on when an anachronism takes the team back to where all the hurt started for Sara. Back to a place she has never told anyone about, after the island and before the league, a place where the only peace is in death.

The CEO's Heartbeat

25 parts Ongoing

Sara Lance built Lance Industries from the ground up, earning a reputation as a ruthless but brilliant leader. With her sharp mind and unwavering determination, she never let emotions get in the way of business. But beneath her tough exterior, she carried the weight of past betrayals-ones that made her wary of trusting anyone too closely. Ava Sharpe never expected to work for someone like Sara. After losing her fiancé in a tragic accident, she was left to raise their son, Gray, alone. Determined to give him the best life possible, she accepted the assistant position at Lance Industries. Despite Sara's intimidating presence, Ava refused to back down, impressing the CEO with her efficiency and resilience. At first, their relationship was strictly profesional. But as Sara watched Ava juggle motherhood and a demanding job, something inside her shifted. She found herself drawn to the woman who refused to crumble under pressure, and more surprisingly, she found herself caring about the little boy with bright eyes and an infectious laugh. When late nights at the office turn into quiet conversations and stolen glances, Sara and Ava realize their connection runs deeper than employer and assistant. But with the weight of Sara's guarded heart and Ava's fear of falling again, will they take the risk-or will their pasts keep them apart?
