Lilly Frost is a bright young woman whom has dreams of becoming a doctor. One night while drinking, her sister accidentally kills a man who was trying to rape her. Lilly sticks by her sister's side and attempts to find a resolution to the over-bearing problem they come face to face with. Sadly, her family is not as loving nor caring and they send her to prison under false accusations all because their precious daughter is destined for great things.
So, with a cell being made for her in prison, Lilly is left to wonder why they did it. To her surprise all of the all-female prisons were full, forcing her to be placed in an all-male prison. On her first day she meets Blaine, a man whom is feared by everyone in the prison -prisoners and police officers, no one dare cross him. The ruthless cell mate, however, is drawn to the small, soft spoken girl and vows to protect her for as long as she remains in his life.
Neither of them were meant to spend life in prison, not even the ruthless Blaine Miller. Little does Lilly know, he not only isn't supposed to be in prison but he also holds a secret she will soon become involved in.
