SIMPLE YET EXTRAORDINARY, a tale of six adopted super powered siblings who live in the City of Opportunity. Zen Kawashima has Telekinesis and Psychometry but feels undeserving of this blessing. Monica Johnson has a fear of darkness but has Umbrakinesis. Gabriel McCarthy has Entomophobia but has insect manipulation. Anastasia Mei feels guilty of blinding unexpected people. Christina Castillo has a phobia of animals but is cursed with animal manipulation. Elliot Amézquita has a thirst for blood but has healing abilities. In order to contain their fears and powers, their mum has been giving them pills. But one day, when the creator of the medicine, their mum, got kidnapped; it is up to them to step into the great city and face their fears, powers and insecurities together in order to save her.

Not As It Seems
This is a trilogy. Orphans accidentally stumble upon a magical world with blue grass & green sky. Everything seems wonderful at first, but it's all not as it seems... This story, these characters, have brought me comfort more times than I could count, they have saved me in every way possible. When it felt like I had no one, I always had them. When I felt sad or lonely, this world was a place I could hide. This world felt like my only home. I've been writing this story since I was 17, and it's hard to believe that I'm finally releasing it a couple months before I turn 21. But certain parts and characters were in my head from as young as 5. It's time to not gate keep this story anymore, and let it out into the world for people to hopefully enjoy. I hope these characters feel like your best friends, just like they did to me. Having never ventured from home on her own before, she'll need help. Some pirates, a former enemy and the last person she ever expected, will lend their skills to bring the children home. In this world, much of the wilderness is still untouched. It holds bizarre and sometimes dangerous secrets. Some groups have managed to create small communities like towns and camps with running water. Meanwhile, those with the resources and connections have built massive modern cities with towering buildings. Our characters will have to navigate that world. As the girls learn how use their powers they will learn more about themselves and their past, especially Neon's. Siblings get separated all the time right? then if you ever find your sibling after years and years of being apart and not even knowing the other existed you'd be thrilled. right? Right? WRONG. Sam, at 17. finds out that her whole life has been a lie. her parents aren't her parents, her beloved brother and favorite person in the world isn't really her biological brother. what would you do if you were in a situation like that? but atleast you'd find out that you had a twin. A person who suddenly finds out that they have a twin is supposed to be really happy. then your twin would be thrilled that they got reunited with their twin and that would make things easier right? The story takes place in the year 2115. Oil reserves nearly ran out in the year 2053, causing World War III, which was a devastating 5 year nuclear war, destroying much of the world we call home. Countries and cities like China and New York were blown clean off the map leaving radio active waste in its place. Governments were destroyed and humanity was left to build its self back up. Scientists have developed technology in which slower vehicles can be powered by plant waste. Solar, wind, and hydra technology has been further developed although nothing works the same. All of this is thanks to Mr. Derek Evan Halk who has studied many things. Specializing in Mechanics, technology and biology Derek had it all until he suddenly disappeared with his family. Savannah Halk and her family know something the world doesn't know. She carries the weight of her deceased father's legacy on her shoulders as she tries to keep her family out of harms way. With a brother missing his twin. Another brother struggling to comprehend his emotions. A mother clinging to death of her husband, and a sister who will never know her father. Katelyn comes from an abusive past. She never knew anyone besides her parents. She learned how to read from her parents although after one hundred years books are a rare oddity, so why would they care if she could read or not? Desperate to reconnect with her family, Kamella decides to use the powers that she has to become a villain named Blinq, just to get attention from her family. But life is already hard. Heading into her senior year in high school, trying to keep her crush away from the stupid boys she keeps dating, fending off suitors of her own, and then meeting other heroes and villains certainly keeps her on her toes.
