Christina Castillo has a phobia of animals but is cursed with animal manipulation. Elliot Amézquita has a thirst for blood but has healing abilities. In order to contain their fears and powers, their mum has been giving them pills. But one day, when the creator of the medicine, their mum, got kidnapped; it is up to them to step into the great city and face their fears, powers and insecurities together in order to save her.

Katelyn's Discovery
The story takes place in the year 2115. Oil reserves nearly ran out in the year 2053, causing World War III, which was a devastating 5 year nuclear war, destroying much of the world we call home. Countries and cities like China and New York were blown clean off the map leaving radio active waste in its place. Governments were destroyed and humanity was left to build its self back up. Scientists have developed technology in which slower vehicles can be powered by plant waste. Solar, wind, and hydra technology has been further developed although nothing works the same. All of this is thanks to Mr. Derek Evan Halk who has studied many things. Specializing in Mechanics, technology and biology Derek had it all until he suddenly disappeared with his family. Savannah Halk and her family know something the world doesn't know. She carries the weight of her deceased father's legacy on her shoulders as she tries to keep her family out of harms way. With a brother missing his twin. Another brother struggling to comprehend his emotions. A mother clinging to death of her husband, and a sister who will never know her father. As the girls learn how use their powers they will learn more about themselves and their past, especially Neon's. Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. Not As It Seems
This is a trilogy. Orphans accidentally stumble upon a magical world with blue grass & green sky. Everything seems wonderful at first, but it's all not as it seems... This story, these characters, have brought me comfort more times than I could count, they have saved me in every way possible. When it felt like I had no one, I always had them. When I felt sad or lonely, this world was a place I could hide. This world felt like my only home. I've been writing this story since I was 17, and it's hard to believe that I'm finally releasing it a couple months before I turn 21. But certain parts and characters were in my head from as young as 5. It's time to not gate keep this story anymore, and let it out into the world for people to hopefully enjoy. I hope these characters feel like your best friends, just like they did to me.
