Kimberly short for "Kim" is having family problems. Her father died when she was 10 she's now 15. Her mother (Lavender) beats her when she isn't happy with herself.
Kimberly is very beautiful but is also getting bullied at school, but it's this boy that likes Kimberly, she doesn't know that because she hasn't felt that kind of love in a while.
After all the things Kimberly's Mom has done to her she runs away. She found her a job & the same boy that likes her , they run into each other. Lavender has men looking for Kimberly, but little does she know Kimberly's old self has left .
