Towards of the end of her summer vacation, Kristine visits her Great Grandmother's house for the first time. In those few days, Kristine learns the history of the house. She finds a diary that once belonged to a girl named Susan Martin and travels back in time to the Revolutionary War. She becomes acquainted with the Martin Household and even falls in love with Thomas.
