"Alyse, get down!" Bryan yells.
A few seconds after I get down on the floor in the front seat, a bullet goes through the windshield and hits the seat right where my head would be.
I look in the back at Julie and Chase with tears in my eyes.
Julie rolls her eyes and pulls out a gun from under Bryan's seat, rolls down the window, leans out, and starts shooting at the car following us. While Chase does the same but shooting at the car ahead of us.
Bryan looks at me and says "I'm so sorry Alyse. We shouldn't have brought you here. I'm so sorry" he said with tears welling up in his eyes.

[COMPLETED] "Shoot," Joey mumbles, letting out a string of profanities under his breath. He looks at me and I subtly gesture with my head to the second tunnel. He glances at it and immediately we are on the same page. His jaw sets and he looks at the group.
