Mature
For as long as Kelci can remember she has always wanted to be an actress. Her sister, Lorin's, harsh critiques and the fact that her father abandoned her when she was a toddler fuels her self-doubt. The only thing she is sure about is acting. When she slips into a character she is transported into another world. In this world, where things are already determined, she feels sure of herself because she knows exactly what is expected of her and how to deliver it.

After Lorin is expelled for bullying, Kelci convinces her mom to move them to Grayson's Academy, an elite private school known for strict academic excellence and an award winning drama program. Lorin is livid and withdraws from socializing completely out of place among these intellectuals. Now the outcast she seeks favor in a handsome, young instructor whom she believes has feelings for her.

ADDICT IN BLACK SPIN OFF Keagan Monikol: the jock with a hidden talent for poetry and an unarming amount of intelligence. Hidden away under stereotypes and an unwillingness to correct people's assumptions, his true self is far less dumb and far more sensitive than other's give him credit for. He's ordinary, so why not just let them all think he's ordinary, too? Robin Rae: All around nerd, complete Star Wars fan, and absolutely doesn't care about people's opinions. And she thinks he's a total dummy. Have you ever wanted to run away? To become completely different from who you are, to just start over? Keagan...doesn't. He has no need to change, no need to prove himself. No one knows him, not really. But what happens when he meets someone who he wants to be himself around? After being paired for an assignment in their math class, the two can't help but to butt heads. It also seems that Keagan can't stop himself from falling for the girl who is severely underestimating him. He puts love poems in the pages of her book and wishes it was enough to make her know how serious he is about her. They have to keep working together for the rest of the year and Keagan finds arguing fun for once. Both with baggage, he refuses to share things with her and rarely lets her glimpse at his true intellect while Robin doesn't really ever look at him unless she's forced. It's only a matter of time before the bickering between a awkward nerd and a smart jock creates one hell of a story. ----- Birdie laughs loudly, head tilted back and clutching at herself. But while her eyes are gleaming with amusement I can't help but to let my heart drop heavily in my chest. It's not a joke, I think. I love you. ----- Nudging her up at the elbow, I grin when she finally stands. "Come on, Four-eyes, we need to get a move on." "Whatever, Jock-Strap," Robin sighs, giving me a look. "I didn't know your time was so important to you." "Keep up Birdie, time isn't real."

To Whom I Fell For

26 parts Complete

Following the tragic death of his mother in a terrible car accident, a loner, 17 year old boy, Darius, must go about his life living with his mother's twin in a different state. Darius must balance the loss of his mother, the emotional and mental trauma of being with her at the very moment of her death, and his emotionally unstable father who left Darius and his siblings to recover from the loss of his wife. The young teen falls into a deep depression after the loss of his mother and becomes lost in the weeks following her death. His only rays of happiness are his baby sister, Leyva and music, both of which still don't manage to make him any more happy than he has been since his loss. Soon after these tragic events, Darius meets a girl at the oddest of times named Bryn. Bryn soon becomes his largest shimmer of hope and happiness and pulls him out of his dark depression. She helps Darius over come his mother's death and find helpful ways to avoid falling back into the depression, which in turn opens up new career paths for him. Two months after the two meet and become friends, they then become a couple. Darius' life then takes a horrible turn yet again as Bryn falls severely ill. Darius stays with her for the months that follow the sickness that traps her. Darius soon must face the choice of moving on from yet another loss, or falling back into the depression he had found after his mother's death.
