Its the year 2156 and humans have evolved quite rapidly. We still look similar, no gills or scales yet, but now when a human is born they are injected with an internal clock. Their internal clock soon becomes external, meaning on the inside of our wrists is a small stopwatch that slowly counts down to the exact moment we die. Some say it sounds thrilling, and they try to do everything and anything. Those people usually end up dead before their time or in a prison or holding cell. What a way to live, right? Then there are those people who dont even want to look at their ticking timebomb. Those people are easy to tell apart, they either have a wristload of bracelets or, in desperate cases, tape suffices. The only other group is those who just dont care. They know when they are going to fade, because obviously its documented on their arm, but they dont go crazy or try to 'live it up'. They continue on with their lives, like any normal person would. Its pretty simple to distinguish this group from the others, they are the only ones not in a rush or stacked in bangles. They pay attention and take the time to admire their surroudings. How do I know this? Thats me, I'm one of those 'boring' people watchers. I pay a little too much attention, but i dont mind. I would rather be a precisionist than let life pass me by. _____________________________________________________________________________ Meet Emily, she was never one to jump on an opportunity, more of an observer. She didnt mind though, she liked just watching, she was good at it. And in enters Drew, he was never one for sitting on the sidelines. With a clock counting down your life, do something worth living for. That was his motto. But what happens when their lives suddenly take a turn for the worst, and they are left on their own to put things back in place? Could this be the end or maybe a difficult beginning?
