After the events within the Shadow Realm, Webby is more determined than ever to free Lena. The triplets, Scrooge, Donald, Beakley and everyone else are on board. But, when a transmission comes from the moon revealing Della is alive, Scrooge is torn. Webby is torn herself and finds herself keeping secrets from everyone which drives a wedge between her and the boys. At a breaking point, Beakley sends them all on a small trip. But a nasty crash causes them all to be separated in more ways than just physical. As Webby struggles to come to terms with what she has caused, it is revealed that she has far less time than they all thought. As they wander, all come to some decision regarding to what she has done, and not all decisions are good. A lost enemy returns and an island full of mystery and magic leads Webby on a journey to find her choice.
