Sixteen-year old Celest Cain has honor of being the Rider of Fírek, the only hatchling of Saphira Bjartskular and Fírnen, and will soon have the privilege of leaving Oromis Isle to act as a full member of the order along with her two closest friends, Marilis Silvertongue and Halle Prince.

However, before their graduation, Halle and Celest return to Alagaësia on a special mission to find the land caught between a political struggle. After scorning King Orrin's marriage proposal, High Queen Nasuada's life and country are at risk.

Celest, Marilis, and Halle must join the other Riders and their dragons to put an end to Orrin's plot. But the question is not if they can succeed.

Rather, it is if they will.

She wanted to be a Dragon Rider after she heard the stories about them from some traders from Eura, who come to Arctica to trade with the villages. Kaya's prayers to Suka the Polar Bear, one of the fifteen Great Beasts, are answered when a woman claiming to be Dragon Rider comes to their village. When Kaya touches a dark purple dragon egg and it hatches Kaya becomes one of the legendary Dragon Riders. Nimue is a non important six year old from Oceanus. She is always swimming in the ocean where she feels comfortable, but on land with people she never feels comfortable, especially when the so called people are whispering about her calling her a freak and a witch. Nimue wanted to get away from her old life and her parents. She spent almost every waking moment in the ocean to get away from her village. Nimue's wish however comes true when she touches a dark blue dragon egg from a Dragon Rider, and it hatches for her. This a fanfic of Wings of Fire, Spirit Animals, and The Inheritance Cycle.
