Her words ended and she stopped breathing. The red haired girl I had come to love, too late, was gone. As I took the dead spider into my arms, I heard the sound barrier break. Looking up, I saw the S.H.I.E.L.D hella-carrier prepare for landing in the field stained red with the blood of my beloved. I bent over and her body and started to sing the song she used to sing to her brother.

The crunch was so deafening in the silence as Nick Fury stepped on my Winter Soldier mask. He didn't look very happy and neither did the two dozen men surrounding me with blasters trained at my head. Fury made one swift movement with his hand and two men strapped handcuffs to me and lifted me to my feet. As they led me to their flying prison, I turned around and whispered one last thing to her,

"Mne zhal..." I'm sorry.
