On the surface, James Caugwren seems like the ideal human. He is loved by nearly everyone around him and regarded both as a hero, a celebrity and to a very select few, a monster of the most frightening caliber. Trained by CORP's most ruthless and dedicated soldiers, it wasn't a surprise to anyone that he rose quickly through the ranks, going up and beyond every goal and bar the organization held. Far surpassing his superiors and peers alike, James is known as the best CORP has ever produced. A terrifyingly deadly weapon in the war against Arcanes.
If only they knew the Arcane inside, the powers he possesses and the hatred he holds for them all.

the prize of his love ( rewrite )
( rewrite ) Huntingtown was panicking; no one knew where the sirens were coming from. There was no electricity, and there was no way for the storm Sirens to be sounding, yet they were. The entire Town was awake; everyone had a weapon. They had grabbed guns, knives, swords, and bats if they could be wielded and used for self-defense; Renee aimed her rifle at the trees, looking desperately for an explanation. Why would a siren sound? They only sounded when they were in Danger, so where was the Danger? When the predators revealed themselves, that was where the siren noise was coming from. Renee could feel her heart jump into her throat. Her face went pale; they were here. They had found the Town. Terror and panic soon swept Huntingtown; everyone knew what those monsters could do. After all, they conquered the planet and imposed the "choosing." Huntingtown was created hoping that its isolation in a cold climate would keep the Predators away, but it didn't. A voice came over those speakers. A male voice Gruff and laced with a growl. It was almost as if whoever was speaking was annoyed and angry. "Although I have enjoyed seeing your little Town outmaneuver many hunters. I am afraid this is where your little games end. However, I will give you a chance to keep your freedom. A hunt. Your best hunter, Renee Madison, will lead you." Renee felt her blood go cold as she stared wide-eyed at the ship. She was unknowingly dropping her gun at the news. " she will be your leader; she will be my prize. You have a time advantage. Go!" The ship took off, looking for a place to land, all while the news sank into the Town's residence. Renee had known she had fucked up when she fired at one of those predators and hit him. She had proven herself worthy of the hunt. Now she has to face the consequences, and not only her but her entire Town has to. Renee had to win this hunt; the fate of her Town depended on it.

Children of the Dead
Enver Williams is leading on a normal life but that is all ripped away from her when she is taken from her home town. When Enver comes to realize that there are others like her in more ways than one, she is determined to free herself and her newfound friends from the physiological torment of her closely supervised enclosure. ••• "Do I make you nervous, Enver?" Another idiotic question. "Wouldn't the man who kidnapped you and threatened to kill you make you nervous?" I snap at him. He only smiles an odd, crooked grin. I can make that disappear. "Wouldn't a murder make you nervous?" Now it's my turn to pull the strings. He looks at me with hurt in his eyes. "How many times do I have to say it?" He pauses, I guess hoping for some sort of mercy in my eyes, "I didn't kill her." "Liar!" I shout. "Why won't you believe me?!" "Would you believe yourself?" "It wasn't me who shot her," he sits on a stool, resting his elbows on his knees. "Then how do you know she was shot?" "I saw it. I saw him kill her," his voice was riddled with such pure vulnerability and pain it begged me to believe him. "Who?" I try to sound sympathetic, but it comes out as scared. Maybe, subconsciously, I am scared.Dokončeno
The Traitors
The Mallard Corporation was one of the largest research and development labs in the Eastern Division. After several years of testing, they released a serum to the public said to enhance pre-existing traits within a person's genetic makeup. The distribution was a success, but the aftermath declared the serum defected. People were developing unnatural abilities and began reeking havoc within the city. A recall was in order and those who had taken the serum, now referred to as Traitors, were gathered up to be transported to a holding location until these Traits could be removed. While some had uncontrollable Traits, others had Traits which were easier to hide so they remained inconspicuous to the public eye. Logan Fierce was constantly battling the demons in his past. It had been three years since his release from Mal Corp, but the trauma he faced was ever present. Determined to fulfill a request left behind by a friend, he encounters Phoenix Monroe; a fellow Traitor who was predicted to change his life forever. Follow their journey in this dual POV as they jumpstart a series of events which would lead them to discover the truth hidden within Mal Corp and the betrayal which is closer than they think. **This story contains adult themes such as: strong language, abuse, sexual situations, self-harm, and violence** Sensitive chapters which may be triggering for readers are marked with asterisks. *If any of the following are triggering for you as the reader, please don't read or read at your own discretion.
