Hermione Granger, Head Girl and top witch of her age, is facing a year like no other: a year without Voldemort, Harry, and her parents. Returning only with her friend Ginny Weasley and a mentally struggling Ronald Weasley, she struggles to learn how to handle new emotions and how to cope with the trauma from the war without her friends, and a certain Head Boy is not helping her concentrate, either. With tensions still high between the light and dark side of the war, Hermione and Draco are both in danger at Hogwarts. Despite all of this, however, Hermione is determined to have a good year at Hogwarts, and to do the best she possibly can in her final year.
As Head Girl, it is her job to be the example of the perfect student after all, no matter what the emotions under the surface say
**For now I won't put a mature rating on my story, but be warned that there is cussing, attempted murder and mental illness in this story. Thank you for reading.
It's been years since the battle of Hogwarts. Years since the class of '99 set foot in Hogwarts. Years since they have all been together under one roof.
And years from Harry Potter has seen his best friend Hermione Granger or Luna Lovegood.
No one knows what happened the night of her engagement to Ron Weasley. No one knows why she left the party and didn't come back. No one knows why she decided to leave everything behind her and start again.
And no one knows that she is coming back for the reunion with her husband and family in tow.
It's Hogwarts reunion weekend and the entire class of '99 are back to spend a weekend in their old school, reminiscing about the good old days and maybe finding out what happened to the most talented witch of her generation and what made her run.
