A strange land exists, one devoid of intelligent life and too harsh for anyone to survive in it for any length of time. Remnants of an unknown civilisation are scattered everywhere, but no clues to tell who they were or where they went. Lyra has been travelling between our worlds since she was little, taking refuge in it when everything around her became unsteady. However, shortly after her eighteenth birthday, she meets someone in the other world.
All of a sudden, people who seem to know about and be able to travel between the two like her are appearing all around her. Her father's boss, the girl who helps at the local library, even her best friend all seem to know more than they want to tell her. Knowing who can be trusted and who wants to hurt you is impossible, especially as Lyra is left reeling from seeing her mother again for the first time since she was three. But something deeper is happening. In the Nightscape, there is a temple that holds a slumbering evil.
And now it's waking up.

After a devastating breakup, Lyra finds herself lost, both emotionally and physically, wandering through a dark and mysterious realm known as the Underland. In this haunting place where shadows stretch endlessly and time slips away, Lyra is consumed by her grief and confusion, unable to find her way back to the world she once knew. In the depths of the Underland, Lyra meets Damien, a seemingly perfect guide who promises to heal her broken heart. With his gentle words and comforting presence, Damien convinces Lira that he can help her move on from her past and restore her peace. But as Lyra's trust in him grows and love starts to blossom, so does her unease. Something about Damien doesn't feel right. His kindness seems too perfect, his offers of solace too convenient, and soon she begins to suspect that the Underland-and Damien himself-are not what they appear to be. As Lyra delves deeper into the twisted and deceptive landscape of the Underland, she learns the terrifying truth: the realm thrives on the souls of those who are lost and broken, offering false healing in exchange for their soul. To escape before the Underland consumes her soul, Lyra must confront her deepest pain, face the emotional scars she's been running from, and discover the strength to heal from within. But Damien, now revealed to be a sinister force in the Underland, will stop at nothing to keep her trapped in his false embrace. In a race against time, Lyra must break free from Damien's manipulative grip and find a way to reclaim her heart before it's too late. The only question that remains: can she heal in time to save herself, or will the Underland claim her soul forever?

In a future where one family holds dominion over an entire system of planets, the Soladrens live in opulence beyond imagination. But their wealth and power have bred complacency, corruption, and a dangerous detachment from the people they rule. Beneath their glittering empire, rebellion simmers in the slums of industrial worlds, fueled by anger and despair. Cressida Soladren, the calculating matriarch of the dynasty, knows the family's decay cannot be ignored-not if they wish to maintain control. Desperate for a solution, Cressida turns to an ancient philosophy: suffering as a crucible for strength. She devises a daring experiment-a "swap" to force understanding between the ruling elite and the oppressed. Lyra Soladren, her rebellious and entitled daughter, is sent to live among the Grounders, the lowest rung of society, to experience their struggles firsthand. In exchange, Dax Marent, a charismatic and ruthless rebel leader, is brought into the Soladren fold, offered the education and resources of the family he seeks to destroy. As Lyra battles to survive in a world where her family name is a curse, she discovers unexpected humanity and strength in the people she once scorned. Meanwhile, Dax navigates the decadent halls of the Soladrens' moon palace, using his newfound access to learn their weaknesses. But as rebellion ignites across the system, both Lyra and Dax find themselves questioning their roles. Can they dismantle the systems of suffering from within, or will they be consumed by the very power they seek to challenge?

Veiled in Light and Ruin

20 parts Ongoing

Every year, Lyra's village gathers beneath the ancient statues of the Fates, offering prayers and sacrifices to keep the creeping darkness at bay. The Ruined Kingdom stands in the distance, a forbidden place where no one enters and no one leaves. A place ruled by a king who does not age, does not die, and does not care for the world beyond his walls. Lyra has never believed in fate, only in survival. With her mother's health failing, she is willing to do whatever it takes to save what little she has left. But when this year's ritual goes terribly wrong, Lyra is taken-ripped from the life she knows and thrust into the heart of a kingdom lost to time. There, she is told she has been chosen. That she, along with others, must vie for the favor of a king no one has seen in over a century. But something is wrong within the castle's walls. Whispers of the past haunt her steps, and the King-cold, untouchable, and shrouded in secrets-watches her too closely. As shadows stir and forgotten magic awakens, Lyra begins to question everything she's been told about the Ruined Kingdom. And, more importantly, about herself. Because the deeper she delves into the mystery of the King and the kingdom he rules behind the walls, the more she realizes: Some destinies are written in blood. And some fates are meant to be broken.
